While Potentials Unlimited does not formally endorse any particular resource or service out there, we can state that any website with a “.gov” or “.edu” extension is, in our opinion, less likely to be driven by financial or other strictly self-serving motives. Likewise, websites representing credentialing and/or oversight bodies are, in our opinion, less likely financially driven as a primary motive and more so for the greater good.
Drug addiction & alcoholism, treatment, sober living/recovery housing, etc. all fall under the “mental health” heading, which is why you might happen to notice the links below are so broad in scope. In fact over the past decade or so it has been found that a high percentage of addicts also suffer from co-occurring mental health disorders like; depression, PTSD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Therefore we like to include website links that also provide information for those with mental health issues.
